Leetcode: LinkedList, Arrays, Trees, Graphs, String manipulation. If less than 5 yrs experience, we don't ask system design generally, as you will be placed in SDE1 or SDE2 (61).
but I've few of my friends who were interviewed with system design in their last rounds
How many years of experience do they have? We generally only ask system design if they have 7+ yrs of experience, unless you are coming from other top tech companies. Then we try to place them in Senior or SDE2 (62)
-they have no industry expirence. questions that were asked were like -convert and html page into object oriented representation -how will you design a shopping cart and questions around comcurrency scalability etc.
they were new graduates
Are you sure it's system design and not standard OOP like design a chess game or deck of card? I can't speak for other Teams but in our Team that's what we follow. I have been on 2 other Teams.
based on their experiences I can say other then data structure and algorithm we need to focus on OOP system design and theory questions on basic computer science
Does preparation required for Ai core and data mining event be any different from Azure event ??
