Hi guys, I heared that the perm process in Microsoft is very very slow. Is it true? Normally how long do I need to wait for the final approval of perm and I140 in Microsoft? There are only 3 months for my PD to be current(hopefully).. Not sure it is worth to accepting this offer and taking the risk to re-run the whole perm process. TC: 162k rsu 80k sign 30k Thank you!
gc first, nothing is more important then that. After 3 months, you are more then prepared, ms, google, fb, whatever you like some u re a free man
You could tell them that you ll join after 3 months too. If the org is hiring multiple roles than replacing a specific vacancy, they will wait for 3 months
Thank you guys. I will consider about it.
When will they usually start the gc process after joining? P.S: I already have an approved i140 from current employer.
Me,too. I guess I will file 485 by the end of this year or the beginning of next year
Slow, wait for GC.
Very very slow process at msft .. takes forever
:(
Same experience. They said 6 months after joining they will start perm
You can always ask them to start immediately. My experience has been most companies would agree
@fang2 MS hiring manager told me that he would approve any request to file PERM immediately after I join. However, recruiter told me that MS generally starts the process two months after joining.
