Does Microsoft looks at referrals favorably? My referral went in for a finance position By favorably, I ONLY mean getting the footing the door so please no smart comments. Looking for genuine comments

Referrals are goos for getting someone in the door. The rest is up to the candidate

They pretty much ignored me. I'm not sure if my resume was even looked at by a recruiter
By favorably do you mean screw legitimate candidates and give you the job offer instead even if you bomb the interview?
