Mid-twenties professional looking for help transitioning industries, any advice?

Hi everyone, I currently work in pharma advertising (4 years of experience) and am really struggling on how to transition out of this space. I’ve learned a great deal and been promoted 3 times on the account management side. I feel I have a great deal of people management skills and a deep understanding of strategic marketing and communications. I am looking to leave because there is absolutely no work life balance in this sector (this is just the plain truth). I’m a hard worker and care about my career but not at the price of 70 hour work weeks and 500 emails a day. I’ve applied to misc. jobs just to see if I’d hear back from something other than what I already do and it’s been radio silent. I’m fearful That I’ve somehow pigeonholed myself and will Never be able to do something different. Does anyone have any advice on how they’ve successfully transitioned out of this field (or any field) and if so, what they do now? I’d love to hear from someone on what their new jobs are as I’m still trying to figure out where my skills can transition. Thank you in advance!! :)

I’ve been in a very similar position. ‘Network’ is the cliché answer and it’s the right answer. I was about to move to my second and third jobs in two totally different industries based on a close friend referring me to their company.
