Does anyone happen to know the military leave policies for drilling reservists at some of the bigger tech companies? MSFT, Salesforce, Lyft, Uber, and Airbnb are some of the ones I’m interested in. 10 yoe, non-tech, Sales & Ops background in supply chain but looking to pivot into tech.
Your weekend drills shouldn't matter. For AT most companies will pay you the difference between your LES and normal salary for 3 weeks.
My unit has a tendency to pull drills forward into the weekdays due to range restrictions and travel times. Would that impact anything?
Yes most companies won't do a pay adjustment for drill days. I'm sure they'll let you make up the work. As long as it doesn't effect your tasking.
15 paid military leave days a year at Snapchat. So you basically double dip during your two week annual training
That's awesome! Lockheed subtracted my LES earnings. More reasons to work somewhere else!
But depending on how long your leave is, Lockheed’s way might be better
The answer is deleted. Could you pls share with me your conclusion on the reasonable TC and base pay range? I have similar background (except for the military part) and pivot to supply chain recently. Thanks!
Thanks. How does that come through in the policies? USERRA minimums or differential?
Definitely meets USERRA minimums. Can’t speak to what parts may exceed USERRA. Is there a specific concern you have in mind?
