Been miserable working for a large non-faang company for 2 years now. I tried applying but got rejected by FB, and I cannot find anything to move to. I don't like to go to work, I'm pissed at the people I'm working with. I still finish my tasks and am doing a decent job. I have savings enough to cover my expenses for a year, but would prefer getting laid off so I can claim unemployment. What should I do?
Take it easy OP. It took me 2 years to find my new job. Keep being a profesional, and grinding leetcode! Don’t take things personally. Be persistent.
I used some other email that I own. Because I don't want to disclose my real company.
Leetcode & get into some other FAANG One time rejection means nothing

Way easier to get a job employed than not employed
Was in your shoe recently, and I bet most people(even FAANG) at some point in their career experienced the same. Just keep leetcoding, show up at your work from 9 to 5 but don’t work overtime. Treat your coworkers respectfully but remember they are the miserable ones. You have the backbone (enough savings and your leetcode skills) to stand up for yourself during an arguement. Trust me things will work out eventually, just keep trying and learn from failed interviews.
I'm exactly in your shoes right now ...I also feel miserable. But I will take up on the advice given on this post too. I have already started leetcoding.
Yeah, I think more than advice, I want to see if it's happening to others, and makes me feel a lot less weird and toxic.
Lift weights. Feel dominant.
What do you really want to do with your life?
When I get asked this I tell interviewers that I want to “copulate with females and generate wealth”. I get hired.
I don't have the answer on that yet, but not the reason. Maybe just burnt out. But cannot quit yet.
