Mobile dev teams in Austin??
I am planning on moving to Austin soon. I have some native Android development experience prior to my current position and want to get back into Mobile development. What are some of the companies that have good Mobile teams in Austin? Tc: 130k (Tagging a few companies that have a good presence in Austin)

Oh sweet. Thanks. I have heard some horror stories about wlb at Amazon. Do you have any insight into this (specifically for this team)?
Amazon is so big (1000s of teams) that of course there are some horror stories. I’ve been at Amazon in the Austin office for the last two years, and at least on my team, WLB is great. I think that in general Austin probably has a little better WLB than Seattle. I know some people on the Flex team, but not totally sure about their WLB specifically.
I'm not sure how much of mobile is there or how much we're hiring there (most of the people laid off or shuffled to other teams by the Stride shutdown last year were there) but Atlassian has a pretty big dev office in Austin
Yeah. One of my friends told me Atlassian has a big presence there. Sad to know that there are no mobile focused teams.
I don't know that there aren't. And there may be mobile openings on vertical teams. A lot of the MTV product teams are verticals and have mobile embedded in the team. Not helpful for jobs in Austin but I know staffing up mobile (both iOS and Android) n some of the verticals for Confluence is a priority for the coming year (fiscal year here starts in Julyl
