I'm a Tesla lover & we have a few in our family. Bffs with the local Tesla manager. I used to be a Toyota hater..especially Prius because they looked like a r* car (gen I) then my commute was too much and was spending too much $$$ on gas so I ended up buying a Prius in 2011...still have it & MPG is still 45-48. A few friends sold their BMW & MB & for the plug in & love it....I know how you feel but still worth it

Are you buying a car for Ubering or want to buy a car and offset the cost with Ubering?

Wayfair oim8y OP Sep 15, 2019

Both

If you’re asking the question, S due to potentially higher value rides, plus more longevity of the car itself.

Don't do Uber if you care about plebs puking in your car's interior

Wayfair oim8y OP Sep 15, 2019

Is that common?

Omg - please do not use your tesla as it will be destroyed by all the passengers. If your purpose is to get a car to use as an Uber driver get something else.

Rode in a model 3 Uber last week and I was shocked at how badly the car looked.(from wear and tear) I asked the driver because there was a safety restraint failure message on his screen and he said he can't get a service appointment for two months. So that's another things to consider.
