MongoDB lowball?

Recruiter told me salary range for 3-5 years experience is 140-150k. That sounds very low for the current market. It’s a shame because Mongo seems like a great company.

They are competive for NY, but NY isn't very competitive with the valley outside a few companies. You can get in the mid 200s as a senior engineer there.

How is Two Sigma compared to the usual FANG, etc? Interview difficulty, type of work, compensation for backend infra? i.e. not algo developers

Tell your recruiter that they made your day and ask if they have any more amusing jokes

That’s just base salary, right? If so, that sounds pretty normal for 3-5 YOE

Mongo was a great company in 2012 2013 .... I don’t think they have any future now. The whole BigData NoSql hype wave is gone.... now hundreds of better alternatives to mongo.
