I currently a Program Manager at Microsoft. I was wondering what are options for PMs moving from Microsoft to Google. What are some positions that are suitable? I am a PM for a fairly technical team. But dont have to do any coding. Do I need to know coding to move to Google? Thanks in advance for your help?
A lot of program managers at MSFT become Product Managers at Google. You just need to figure out if you are a true pgm or more suited to product.
Can you help me understand the difference?
Pgms at Google are the folks that get stuff done with the various stakeholders. Product Managers are thinking about the market and how to engage strategically. I recommend approaching the area you are most comfortable with. You can always look to transfer ladders at a later point.

I think there could be online postings for the jobs. As for the interview, Did you check online resources like Glassdoor/careercup for past experiences ? If not that's a good start. Also Being more specific will get you more help here.
