Move to Canada
Seeing too many posts on Blind about moving to Canada due to GC backlog, H1B slavery and H4 issues. How many have actually done that?

Canadian here... The only reason I'm in the States is because they pay so much more here. That's the biggest issue with working in Canada, the wages are so much lower. Otherwise I'd have never left; the US is a shithole in comparison

I grew up in Canada. The place sucks, aye. Rather live in ghetto ass part of Miami than cold ass Toronto
Vancouver on the other side has a “great” weather like Seattle. And “big” companies HQ as Electronics Arts... Amazon have opened their main office recently ... just to pay a bit less taxes ....
Do they still have those tunnels in Toronto during the freezing winter? I remember when I was a child was some sort of apocalyptic movie where humans have been forced to live underground .....
Indian here. America is the greatest place to live for an SWE. My wife and I both work hard and pay taxes. And California has been what we imagined heaven would be like. But the present regime in the US has made an election strategy out of harming the non white people in immigration queue because their voter base feels good about themselves when they see lives of others destroyed. Seriously considering taking a pay hit and moving to canada. I am guessing India will have way more jobs in SW but quality of life and crime are the reasons I don’t want to go back.
