28 terrorist worshipping idiots just got themselves fired and I've never been prouder to work at Google.
The best way would be to try and switch within the company. If your company supports career growth then you can try and ask for it. Product roles are very competitive and your chances outside are not great.
Is getting an MBA worth the hassle?
Also, I have seen Stanford and UC Berkeley offering certification courses in product management. Will that help?
