I am going to join Amazon and looking to rent a 3br single family house. I have a toddler who enjoys playing in the backyard. Amazon commuter service has buses from south (Renton), east and north (Lynwood). I am thinking to rent in a suburb, drive to parkānRide and take the commuter bus. Where do you recommend me to rent a house? I am leaning towards Lynwood because of better rental price and less traffic.
Newcastle. Good neighbors and close to eastgate P&R although I am not sure how many houses are available for rent here.. Lynwood is great but sometimes feels a little bit far from everywhere.. like if you plan on going Seattle, Bellevue, SeaTac, Kirkland, etc even in non working days. Also, traffic is pretty bad usuaully.
West Seattle
Lynnwood. Lower crime rate, better asian food, better traffic. Also look into Mill Creek if you want quiet & peaceful neighborhood
lynnwood's pretty nice , I'd recommend shoreline too near aurora transit center and possibly cheaper than lynnwood
Commuter bus, rent in Seattle? Har good luck with both of those things.
What is the problem?
Commuter bused are always full theses days no one can get on them and rent in Seattle is ridiculous. Hope you are willing to pay out the ass to live here. My friend just got a two bedroom condo he is renting for 4300 a month. Nightmare.
Capitol Hill! Fun place to live and short commute to Amazon!
West Seattle is awesome. Traffic generally isn't too bad compared to Lynwood and you're closer in to start with.
It rains so much, that a backyard/patio etc is pretty much useless. Having said that, probably Lynnwood. But that commute will kill you.

I 100% prefer Lynwood or Mountlake Terrace over anywhere South of Seattle. I was in Mountlake Terrace for a couple years (just south of Lynwood) and loved it. Plus you have close access to Kingston ferry if you want to hang out on the Olympic Peninsula (which is an incredible place).
