Moving to Seattle, where do you recommend to rent?Nov 30, 2018
I am going to join Amazon and looking to rent a 3br single family house. I have a toddler who enjoys playing in the backyard.
Amazon commuter service has buses from south (Renton), east and north (Lynwood). I am thinking to rent in a suburb, drive to park’nRide and take the commuter bus. Where do you recommend me to rent a house?
I am leaning towards Lynwood because of better rental price and less traffic.
- Amazon amazonian@Newcastle. Good neighbors and close to eastgate P&R although I am not sure how many houses are available for rent here..
Lynwood is great but sometimes feels a little bit far from everywhere.. like if you plan on going Seattle, Bellevue, SeaTac, Kirkland, etc even in non working days. Also, traffic is pretty bad usuaully.
- LinkedIn whatwhatwhI 100% prefer Lynwood or Mountlake Terrace over anywhere South of Seattle. I was in Mountlake Terrace for a couple years (just south of Lynwood) and loved it. Plus you have close access to Kingston ferry if you want to hang out on the Olympic Peninsula (which is an incredible place).
- Commuter bus, rent in Seattle? Har good luck with both of those things.
- Facebook public2Key detail missing: budget. There are significantly different neighborhoods and school districts available.
