Moving to amzn, google or facebook in Seattle being L64 SDE at msft
I wonder how much total comp can I get at those if I change. Current TC: +300k Location: Seattle
How much is your yoe? How long have you been at L64?

L64 at msft is not 300+
They are probably counting the stock they were just awarded, not what they actually received.
300k is totally possible at l64 even without special SSAs etc. I've seen a couple of 64 offers that were around 325 over 4 years. Top for continuing employee is currently about 305ish.
L5 at g/f 450k top end.
I know a l5 who gets 600k+(without including recent stock appreciation or additional gsus) because he had a L6 offer from fb. He was offered 190k base + 1.5m in stocks and 15% bonus + 50k sign on. Fb offered him more than Google for e6 role but he ended up joining Google. His wife works at fb. He must be making more than 750k now. He joined Google 1.25 years back. He doesn't have PhD or supernatural ability. He had 6+ years of experience working on systems. He had a solid interview feedback.
