Multiple onsite rejections now. Your lesson learned from interviews?
I've been proactive with my job search the past few months. I am a non software/programmer with mostly supply chain/planning and project experience the past 10 yrs. I've been fortunate to have a few onsite interviews, but have gotten rejection from almost all. Dropbox (went with someone with direct cloud experience). Amazon (felt I needed more game industry exposure for Amazon Game Solutions), FB (needed more procurement experience), Twitter (went with an internal candidate), Apple (rejected from one and still waiting on another onsite results 6 weeks later)
For those who may have been in my situation or know of some things to consider, what did y'all learn from past rejections that helped with future interviews and finally getting an offer? I'm getting kind of frustrated with myself that none of these onsites have worked out. Not sure what I need to do besides be relax, be myself and keep trying. Thanks!!
