Anyone recently got N-400 approval? Or interview/oath letter? Heard that it's taking a long time (1yr+) in Trump era. Is that true? Can someone please share their recent experience?
Depends on the field office. Mine took about 12 months to get an interview letter. Good thing is that estimate shown on USCIS website is pretty accurate. Field office : SFO. Applied online on Nov 2017. Application to oath was 13 months.
+1 same time SFO field office , applied in June 2017 , interview March 2018, oath in June 2018 total 12~13 months
It also depends on how quickly FBI completes your background check. I have seen people take 18 months plus, the average being about one year
Depends upon the field office. In Bay Area it’s 13 months average with online app at this time and 15 with paper based application. New York is 15-18 months
Trackitt.com haz dataz. In tablez.
Where at OP? Q - what’s the Seattle timeframe?
OP: Go to visajourney.com->forums->US citizenship General Discussion-> US citizenship case filing and progress reports. There are quite a few tracker threads running up there. Should give you an idea of processing time.
