NASDAQ, NYSE, Bloomberg and NYT.
I am a rising senior at a state university and have done two summer research internships so far. Currently preparing for interviews in leetcode. Since, I go to an average state university, connecting with people from non-local companies is not that easy. Can someone please refer me to any of those companies, or any other ? I know, it's not a good idea to ask for referral to random people online, If not referral, few suggestions regarding my resume or just a good connection with you guys would work too. Thank you
Why them specifically?
I am applying to other companies as well, but I had/have this dream that I would someday work at a prestigious company in NYC. There are other companies too but NASDAQ and NYSE are top in my list. Looks like you works at ICE, I would love to hear about your experience.
ICE is our parent company. NYSE has been great. Challenging but very rewarding
Bloomberg > Nasdaq > NYSE (Intercontinental Exchange)
Do it the way the rest of us did it. Apply to a ton of companies and interview at them all until you find one you like
The problem is, I've never received an interview only by applying online. Received a few through career fair and conferences though.
Spam harder, experiment with different resume and be willing to not start at the top and work your way in. A lot of us went to shit state schools and had to go through it
