Join Hollywood studio only as your last option. These studios are technologically very poor and your job security is based off whether or not their big franchise movie is a blockbuster. If movie bombs, you see layoffs. As a tech professional, I would avoid working for a Hollywood studio. Disney is an exception though because it is super diversified.
From my perspective I Love It been here over 2years and don’t plan to swap at any time great mgmt and team.

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
They have had several tech layoffs over the past couple years and have a fairly minimal Seattle presence. If you can take a bit of risk, work life balance will be fine and the Dev director in Seattle is a great guy. Last I knew they were heavily based in drupal, don’t know if they have changed or any new initiatives. Also, don’t know which office you are talking about for any further details (most of my knowledge is clearly on the Seattle presence)
