Major investor got profit and selling off based on technology sector. its doesn't matter who reported what.
Those big sharks 😡
NVDA had a huge beat and raised guidance. But they're already up huge this year and everyone was already expecting a huge beat. There's analyst expectations and expectations of those expectations. It's weird and it's what makes the stock market so unpredictable sometimes
The volatility is huge though
Crptocurrecy (gpu) was big part of revenue beat and not sustainable
Nope. Try again.
Also. Because of wider market trends. North Korea. And snap. And massive amounts of money in ETFs. Snap could be the canary in the coal mine.
equities are overvalued by a lot. huge market downturn soon possible also fed trying to finally balance budget , going to see interest rate increases soon, so less cheap money to borrow
Whatever you are saying is for the entire market
yes that is true, but nvda is part of that market as mentioned before by someone here the crytpo boom helped them a lot. going forward I think it is going to be the parallel processing while leveraging gpus to do that work that is going to drive them forward. though I still think highly overvalued need like a 10-15 percent pull back on nvda and amd
Failed to meet the perfection. I bet on call though
Yes that's what the articles suggest. But, it is kind of vague
Buy the dip bro
Unrealistic expectations. Beat by X but data center business Q over Q wasn't "as impressive" as last q YoY it was still 2x+. However at some point the expectation should be more realistic when something becomes a $500M business unit. Down because the market is crazy.
Down because overvalued.

Stock prices are based on expectations of the future, not performance in the present.
True.. they say NVIDIA technology has reached it peak with 1080GPU.. Was reading article on it few weeks back
Didn't they beat the expectations?
