National Instruments in crisis? Huge Layoffs!
Today a big % of the marketing department was fired (worldwide). All the mktg team in MX terminated. Just from my team (of 9) 5 people were fired. This is part of the new CMO plan to restructure and turn NI into a competitive tech company. Carla, the new CMO, also restructured Rackspace more than a year ago. After this.... Rackspace was sold. Is NI being prepared to be sold? I would like your opinions!

Left at the right time from there
She arrived well before any sale, and in fact did not get the top post till well after. If I were in the NI marketing dept I would be looking over my shoulder a little, but I wouldnt read too much into to it company wide. Unless there are other exec moves? I say this as a recent exRacker, not as an NI expert.
