I'm looking for a new job and I was interested in Netflix and their culture, but I only have 2 yoe. I have 2 questions (preferably for Netflix employees with 2 yoe): How difficult was the technical part of the interview process (I know that they focus heavily on the culture, but they still must validate technical competency)? How has it been since you joined? Netflix has the culture of finding outstanding engineers in-place of adequate engineers, so how did you prove yourself as an A+ engineer considering the lack of exp. Is there an understanding that you'll need time to improve due to the low exp? TC: 125k Thanks in advance for your time and advice.
They donโt hire junior guys. Only Sr+
There are no Netflix employees with 2 YOE.
I heard Netflix has bad company culture.. keeps firing people
I heard Google has bad company culture... keeps not firing useless/unproductive/backstabbing/lazy/unethical people
Honestly confused, how can you be A+ engineer and at the same time have low experience and need "understanding that you will need time"?
Maybe you mean "potential"?
Unfortunately most hiring managers are looking for people to hit the ground running, this usually goes hand in hand with experience. Stay focused/determined is only a matter of time.

I wish I were East Asian instead of Vietnamese (Southeast Asian)
You need at least another 3 YOE
Yes, that's what I figured. It's just that I've seen a few ppl on here comment that they've got in with <3 yoe.
