A senior software engineer at Netflix tried to tell me he makes $400k cash per year. He also said “there is no stock or bonus”...it’s all cash. Is this remotely true? If you know the real rough bands and structure, would be curious to know. Thinking of interviewing myself. Regardless, this sounds like a crock of shit.
Common knowledge. www.levels.fyi
Seems low for Netflix
why the disbelief?
Poverty has limited your imagination

No problem
True. Netflix only hires senior levels as well. They are well known to be one of the highest paying even out of FANG. Blind or Level.fyi have many data points.
LoL did you just graduate?
Dang OP. You are making VMware look bad. Very likely true. This is well know.
Do you see posts on blind regularly? I don’t think so
I can’t attest to what any individual makes, and we don’t have “bands” as we pay top of market for an individual. Salaries are all cash but there is also an additional 5% of your salary provided as options, Allocated monthly and fully vested immediately. You are also able to buy up to 100% of your salary on options at a reduced rate. There are no bonuses as you are competitively paid and this is unnecessary.
Why?
