It would be helpful if you posted your education level, field of study, years of experience, and skills. DS at Netflix is different from AE (analytics engineer). DS at Netflix is more like ML, requiring advanced degrees and significant experience. Based on your TC, I would infer that you have a BS/BA with little industry experience. I could be wrong, which is why I asked that you share more info.

Hey, thanks for your response.
I was actually asking regarding the Analytics, data engineering roles at Netflix because of my work exp. Even though my title is DS, my work is more aligned with the Analytics/engineering areas.
Bachelors- Comp Engg
Master - Management information systems
3 years of exp as a Data scientist.
My work focuses on doing advance Analytics, statistics, data engineering and reporting for the data science team. I know about ML models having worked with PhD DS but I am not an expert on that matter.
Languages and Tools: R and Python, SQL and Tableau
With your background, youβre underpaid for sure! I believe youβd fit well in the Analytics Engineering team. Make sure to Google Netflix culture deck/memos and see what they look for in employees. With that said, if you get an interview, pass it, and get an offer, it would not be less than 200k for sure, and a good chance to be around 250k.
