I am undergraduate student. My resume have passed for New Grad position at Facebook London. I would like to ask any one experienced here how to prepare for the interview beside cracking the code book. Will they ask in any thing else beside problem solving?
What experiences do you have on your resume? When did you applied? There no available position for new grad swe on the careers page
I have applied from about 2 weeks ago. And recruiter sent me mail asking some HR questions. My experience Data science and back end development. I have published paper and involved in Google Summer of Code this summer. About 8 YOE.
8 yoe, wow? I think you applied to new grad swe (machine learning) in fb london. Am I right?
LC FTW. I did 300+ LC (around 100 hard and 170 medium) and facebook coding interviews were so easy even though I’d never seen those questions before. The hardest one I got was at most a LC medium. I got the highest signal for all coding rounds.
Is there any thing else beside problem solving ? Any topics or design patterns?
How did u find the coding interviews for Google?
For US interview at least there is no system design or knowledge questions (no oop or design patterns)
How is the difficulty for new grad full-time?
Haven't done it only interviewed for an internship, but my questions were LC medium / hard. Heard similar things from my friends who did the new grad interview though.
It is only algos and data structures (LC), and some behavioral questions. No system design questions.
Difficultly level?
Two easy to warm-up along with the longer behavioral question, and then Medium-Hard questions
How far in advance was your interview scheduled?
Till now waiting recruiter to reply!! He sent me mail hr questions and waiting for scheduling phone interview
