Had an onsite interview 3 weeks ago with Apple. A day after the interview sent a thank you email to the HM and recruiter- no response 1 week after emailed recruiter for an update or feedback- no response 2 weeks after followed up with email to recruiter about updates - no response I figure it’s a long shot that I’ll get an offer at this point, but would like some closure and possibly feedback. I’ve read in here that Apple recruiters are notoriously slow, but the lack of response at all leads me to believe that I’m no longer being considered. Should I email the HM and ask for an update or any feedback?
They didn't respond even after 2 weeks? Then it's rejected.
Yeah, figured the same
As long as they dont say no you have a chance is what I understand. Mine took like a month to respond though I didn't routinely ask for updates.
It seems like a mixed bag of people hearing back next day and up to 6 months. But with each passing day the likelihood of hearing back becomes slimmer
You failed brah, move on and get the next one.
Totally brah
Move on - get a better offer. I had same experience. I moved on - Got a scientist position from Facebook instead of waiting for apple to reply.
If you completely bombed, they’ll usually tell you unless the manager has really bad manners. There’s a chance that you were first of n candidates and you’re being kept on reserve.
Yeah, that’s the only reason I posted something. Just trying to get some insight on what the norm might be.
Same thing happened to me. Interview went really great didn’t notice any red flags but HR does not reply so that I can get some feedback and move on.
They're probably interviewing other candidates, or waiting for another candidate to make a decision.
That’s what my optimistic side is saying
