Hi, I got an invite from fb to come onsite for evaluations. Obviously I was very excited and spoke with the recruiter for about an hour where he explained the process etc. They mentioned this is for a specific requisition and hence they will have to schedule both an exploratory interview with the Hiring manager and the onsite. I sent them dates for the exploratory interview 2 days after the call and then heard nothing. I did not think much of it as I was traveling for work and was stressed with other things. Then about 2 weeks after I sent them an email to schedule onsite and did not hear anything back. A day later I called the recruiter to confirm they are getting my emails and still no response. Should I consider this a lost cause and move on or should I contact the recruiter again in a week or so. Mind you it will be 3 weeks since they sent me the email inviting me for onsite interviews. Thanks
Stop emailing them. Get a job at their competitor Google.
Did you try and poke them?
My friend who’s a Facebook manager said if ppl wonna hire u they will send an offer in 3 business days.
Not OP, but that sounds awfully fast— most friends I talk to who work at facebook/google say 1-2 weeks
They probably checked out your FB wall, instagram accounts and whatsapp messages?
Sorry about your experience, I would keep contact them again in a week for updates.
