I had my I-485 interview last week. My priority date is current. The officer wanted to do more review at the end of it. No status change on USCIS or DHS website since then. What should my next step be?

Same happened to me, they approved it 3 or 4 days after the interview. Sometimes you have a new officer and a supervisor is reviewing all their cases before approving, or they are going to check on something, which is pretty routine.

Mine even flipped to something that looked like they were going to RFE (we are reviewing and will contact you for additional information or something) but then just got approved anyway.

Just wait. If after a month there is no update you could get your lawyers to follow up.

It appears to me that my lawyer does not seem to care. He is happy that I got the interview call.

Whether he cares or not is immaterial. He is a professional offering his professional services that you/your employer is paying for. His job is to clarify the situation and advice you about the next best course of action. So keep engaging with him w/o being an a*hole and you should be fine.
