Hi I am a non comp sci grad with around 10 years of experience coding experience. But i still struggle with LC easy. Is it worth to try to get in to FAANG? If so, what is the best way to prepare - books etc. Contractor in a no-name company with 130K TC
What’s your coding experience? Details.
SQL PL/SQL Some Java / ADF Some python
Fuck the degree. Just keep practicing that. Nobody cares about a discussion post on operating systems.
Similar situation here. Focus on implementing from scratch each thing you read up on. Knowing from experience how things operate internally will give you all the CS knowledge you need.
Lots of people struggle with easy at the start, especially if you don't have a CS degree and don't know much about DS&A. Keep trying and see where you go. If you still struggle with easy after reading books and doing a lot of problems, then those top companies will be difficult to get into.
I'd argue the English language is harder to master than coding in whatever language. But you mastered English because you had to. You won't master anything you aren't interested in. So I think if you are interested, just practice.
