Wanted to post this as someone who's benefitted from Blind on multiple fronts (offer negotiation, visa transfer info, etc). I went through a 4 month process landing an IC6 marketing (non-tech) offer at FB only to be told that an H1B transfer might not come through. Was able to convince the hiring manager to file under PP. Transfer approval came through in 7 days. [Base: 200k, Bonus: 20%, Stock:55k]. Given the H1B climate, I do think this is rare and I got lucky.
Product marketing, YoE: 12, BS in Mktg, MBA from top 3 B-School
And 55k is per year I am assuming. Man I always find MBAs as useless degree. But one thing it shines is climbing corporate ladder. Have one director who knows nothing in my field but did MBA from MIT and is now hired as director. Sad reality
I actually agree the MBA is not a huge value add- but I have a range of experiences across functions that helped. It's 55k/yr
And u r moving from google? Should have negotiated more? They don’t offer more than 200k for IC6? any idea how much for E5?
