what are some of the best/highest paying tech or tech consulting companies in the area? I know about the Big 4, MBB, Slalom, and Amazon...any others? TC: 95 YOE: 4
Morgan Franklin in Tyson’s
Google at Reston town center 🙌
Is that an engineering office?
Who the hell is Slalom?
Seattle-based consultants. Good experience with them.
It gets a lot of flack here on blind (for good reason sometimes) but capital one is paying 88k + 9k signon for college grad business analyst roles. 4 YOE at C1 would be 120k-150k depending on level
Idk I've had coworkers get 125k+ for 1 YOE at our DC office. COL sounds high there.
What sort of degree are they looking for? My sister is graduating W&M with a history degree and no prospects so far.
fb has a small (eng headcount) office in DC
Unfortunately I’m not an engineer. I have a background in cloud strategy and implementation as well as overall tech project management skills
What is MBB?
McKinsey, Bain, Boston consulting group — they are the top 3 consulting firms
Do they hire h1b developers? Is it as a Full time or consulting under EVC/EC model?
Comcast, Walmart Labs, Saleforce, CapOne, Verisign, Google, Microsoft, FireEye, Oracle, Vmware, Oath/AOL, Verizon/Yahoo, Blackboard Edit: Forgot a few more AWS, Akamai, Google, Facebook (small but just leased a big building in Reston), Bloomberg
Thanks for this!
BoozeAllen
Not true. They don’t pay well by any consulting measure
The federal government pays better than BAH
