I got an offer from a financial company last year and they started the H1 transfer on non premium. Now the transfer is approved but I don’t want to join the new company as my salary has increased in my current company. What should I do if I don’t want to join the new company? Is it safe to stay in the current company?
Yes. It doesn't matter as long as you stay with your current company.
Nothing happens to your immigration status as long as your current visa is valid and you get extension (whenever it's due) with your current company.
From ur post, it is unclear to me what are your concerns. Is it immigration? In that case you r safe either way.
Yeah it’s immigration.. Thanks!

Just follow up with the recruiter and say you've been promo'd and you were wondering if there was any leeway with the salary. Mention that it's unfortunate, but these are your numbers, and if they can't match them you'll unfortunately have to decline. Nothing to lose.
Thanks for the advise!
It’s fine you can have h1b filed by 10s of companies. The one on your stamped visa has to be current when you are getting in the country. If that has changed you will need to get a stamp from outside the country before getting back in
Not true entirely. You can still enter US if you have a valid stamp from old company on passport and have approval notice from new company.
No I don’t think so, unless you are up for some explaination to the immigrant officer I would not take that risk. Been there done that
+1 for the same concern
