How's the APM program at Oath? What's the timeline like for the interview process? Who are they looking for? I've an interview with them this week.
2 phone screens. 5 on-site interviews. Moves quickly. They look for CS new grads with strong technical ability + product potential (validated by interview performance, side projects, etc)
It's a hard position to get. They look for exceptional and unique individuals.
It's a very good program, you can get the opportunity to work on the most challenging projects in the company.
What kind of projects?
It is good if you land on the Yahoo side, stay away from AOL
What do you have against the aol side?
I don’t have against the AOL side, but Yahoo’s Product is running the show now, legacy PMs from AOL are undermined, fired or in the process to leave. PM AOL speaking here
I left Yahoo in the last month. The dude running the APM program is fucking baller. I’m disappointed I no longer work with him. It’s a strong program and you will come out way, way ahead in your personal and professional growth. For reference, I was an M6.
do u know what they are looking for in Yahoo APM interviews? Would love advice
*I have
either is correct
Not in US English, no. You would either say “I have” or “I’ve got.” The OP’s construct is used in British English. But to Americans it looks as strange as saying “The group are happy” (as opposed to “the group is happy”).
