How is he lying? You can buy a gun online. It must be shipped for pickup only at a licensed dealer. And you can private sale a gun over the internet in most states to anyone with no background check at all. You can be on the terrorist watch list and no fly list and still get a gun. Pretty little regulation. Only questionable part is machine gun. That depends on how you interpret it. Semi automatics can be turned into fully automatic with bump stocks, which only recently were banned.
Guns are heavily regulated. Why doesn’t Obama talk about the enforcement his administration didn’t do?
Uh..not really. When ISIS themselves are sending out propaganda videos explaining how they can exploit our weak gun laws to get a gun, we do not have ”heavy regulation” by any stretch of the imagination. Obama can’t manufacture laws himself. That’s up to congress. And after sandy hook, which everyone assumed would be the last straw before passing universal background checks, the bill died in the vine yet again because the GOP refused to vote with it. Obama was so upset by it, he was tearing up at a press conference. There’s only one political party blocking sensible gun reform. And everyone knows which party that is.
