13 Years of Experience. Company:Salesforce Position : Sr. Solution Architect, commerce cloud Base: $200k RSU: $60K over 4 years Bonus: $20k TC: $235k Location: San Francisco I need help in evaluating the above offer. Is there any room to ask for more RSU? Thank You
Solution architects are in the sales org. Not TMP I think.
Solutions Architect fall under sales and they help with finding solutions to customer problems and demoing what they can do on Salesforce platform. It is not a software architect. Still TC is less.. can push more for base and bonus since in sales org all others are commission based and they make a lot. 13 years of experience is good experience!
Ya, should be room to get the rsus bumped some. Rest looks right
Did you negotiate and got better offer? I received verbal offer for this role with base $145k, bonus 15%, 60k rsus over 4 years, location: texas. YOE: 14, 10 onsulting and 5 in SF. Is this a competitive offer?

Isn't architect higher than PMTS? The RSU number is laughable - lower than what is typical for SMTS by at least $40k. And it looks like your bonus percentage is 10%, but I'd expect at least 20% at that level. SMTS and LMTS get 15% bonus, PMTS get 20%. SFDC has never been known for its RSU packages (they frankly suck) but this offer looks quite poor overall. Some of the numbers don't even seem correct for that band. The base is at the top end of SMTS however, so there's that.
OP offer is clearly not for software engineering. A software engineering architect makes 400-600k/year in the Bay Area.
Thank you, I figured something was off there.
