Got an offer just now from EY for a Senior Consultant Solution Architect position. TC: 120K Base: 115K Sign on bonus: 5K 80% travel EY 401K - 25% matching after 1year YOE: 5 vs And currently at AFS 5 YOE TC 98K 401K - 100% match Is this a good offer?
I would avoid EY.
Any particular reason to avoid?
Bad work culture. Focus is just on chargability. Hard work doesn't get rewarded. HR doesn't support employee.
Location?
No office at all. If i am not traveling then i’ll be working from home
Hmm seems like a very low pay but go for it if you are curious and doesnt have much experience at senior level
Pretty solid offer for EY and 5 YoE. You can live in a low cost location. When you travel you don't have any expenses. So 120K TC is more like 200K TC in bay area
RUNNNNNN. This is a shit role
Pretty low for 80% travel. Maybe you are single and don't mind being 80% somewhere else. But if I were you I'd ask at least for a 2 as first digit in the TC figure.

80% travel is super hard for 120k. How much travel now, and what's your current location?
I don’t travel at all.
