Offer Expiration?
Anyone got an offer from WeWork and was going through other interviews? If you get an offer, how long do they give to before the offer expires? Couple of new onsites got scheduled, so I want to see how they all go. Maybe I should ask for reschedule, but afraid that might send a wrong signal.
Companies generally push for you to accept within a week. It's one of the recruiter tricks. You can try delay negotiation by taking a day to respond to each back n forth but it's get tough to delay it beyond a week. If you are good at what you do then ball is completely on your court to ask for 1-2 weeks to make a call. Meantime stay engaged with the recruiter. Ask to meet the team for lunch or manager for coffee etc. If you are swe then it's relatively easy to get bit more extension than PM.
