What is the break down of your Amazon offer? In terms of base, signing bonus and number of stocks

Honestly 330k for sde2 in Amazon is pretty good even comparing to F/G... though sde3 bar at Amazon is slightly higher

I passed the sde3 interview at amazon, they only didn’t offer sde3 cause i don’t have experience related to the product. I am worried about the WLB at AWS!

Most probably they did, I am leaning towards msft. Much better wlb and almost same tc

Lol sde2 pay and work at almost top of sde3 band. Take that. :D

Edit: whoops - Bay Area, so that makes more sense.

This sde2 offer doesn’t make any sense. Never seen 250 rsu given, you sure it’s not 250K?

msft has annual bonus and rsu refresher, but amazon barely has any. vote for msft.

I also doubt your TC at Amazon is really over 300k. Never seem anyone posting greater than 270k for SDE 2 at Amazon. Admittedly it is Blind data. As above person mentioned, you probably miscalculated stock portion. Amazon stock vests 5%, 15%, 40%, 40%. That means you barely get any stock until third year. Besides, you gotta add 15-20k for MSFT offer when comparing to Amazon since MSFT benefits worth that much (401k, medical).

That's a strong offer from Microsoft. They have better wlb.
    Free medical insurance.

MSFT offer is better but I think you are misreading the amazon offer. If it’s really 250 rsu, your TC won’t be high until year 3. I suspect though it’s 250K stocks not 250 rsu because your signon is very low in comparison.

How was your interview experience and how were the interviews mostly on? Design and previous experience or leetcode?
