L5 at Amazon, SFDC admin: Y1: $115k base, $20k sign on Y2: $115k base, $19k sign on 40 RSUs vest after years 3/4 Is this a good offer?
At L5 my base is 140k in the Midwest, so that seems low, I got same sign on structure by 20 more RSU so you might be able to ask for more on those two.
What's your function? We may have different comp bands
I think they might be trying to level me down to L4. Does that change the offer value?
It completely changes everything and you need to decide if it’s worth it to you. Promotions are not as easy as they say, you have to assume our comp changes by 1% at best per year if you are not promoted, and decide if 2-4 years at this pay is OK.

This is TC around $130-140. Seems pretty low at L5. Where, physically, is the job? It isn’t a family I’m familiar with, but regardless seems like you could at least push toward $150 TC. Depends on how risk averse you are. Pushing for 6-10 more RSUs total and $5k more base and additional for each bonus seems reasonable to get it close to $150. I am more familiar with dev roles, but even PM and things seems higher.
Thanks, makes sense. It's in Seattle
"it isn't a family I'm familiar with, but regardless seems like you could push towards 150$ TC" Worst type of BS I read in a while. OP, learn the market, ask friend, colleges, if your ask is imaginery - you will get nothing vs if your ask is reasonable Amazon might counter offer
