Software engineer with 12 years of experience plus master's degree. Offer is $145K plus RSU 30k annually. Staff level.

It’s pretty low on the staff level for RSU. I am a senior and I am at the same level of RSU. My Base is 15k less but again I am not in Cali.
Rsus are worth around $25-30K annually at moment
They say the culture is bad there I am most likely skipping it
Not sure why years of experience is so important.
It is when domain knowledge is required or a system is large.
