How much time does it take to get offer letter after having clearing the interviews at Microsoft?
It took two months for my full time offer last year š.
Seriously? Why so long?
Recruiter said they were migrating their careers portal. I got a verbal confirmation by the next day but written offer took so long.
It took just 5 days for me as I already had an offer from Amazon.
For me, it was 5 business days for verbal confirmation and 2 more days for official letter.
That is more reasonable. How long ago was this?
Couple of months ago.
I think it depends on group and who the recruiter is. Took nearly two weeks to get formal offer but it was dated less than a week after verbal so I think someone fell asleep.

How long ago was this? Did they explain why it takes so long?
It took forever because CVP had to sign my offer letter. And apparently the CVP is slow af at signing offer letters. Just happened. Iām waiting for background check now.
It varies. If you're the 2nd best candidate it will take longer because they are waiting to hear from the preferred one first.
