I've been accepted for Amazon and I got an offer. I wanted to negotiate the base and to get mor 20%. That is 1st time negotiation. My question is: if they don't accept my negotiation, could they just reject my hiring and say ( we don't want to hire you anymore)?

One thing to keep in mind is that if you are able to get a higher offer, you will not get any/minimal raise for the next few years depending where you are in the compensation range for that family.

There is a range of TC associated with a job level and title
If you get higher comp today that means you will be on the higher end of compensation for that role and that will not get you any good raises

Honestly i would take higher pay in the start than wait for a better raise a yr later. You can do the math

Thats a rare thing to happen
Negotiate softly and ask for a raise if not then as you said you are okay joining at a initially offered TC

I have seen incident where an IC didn't get much of a raise after promotion because he was promoted quickly and his initial offer already places him in the next level range

People negotiate all the time. Esp at amazon, they will always lowball you. Frugality is our leadership principle. If you want min 20% top up, ask for 40%. Then they will negotiate you to 20%. Recruiter will say initially that this is the max i could get approval for etc., don’t pay heath to that bullshit. Ask them to get approval again. Tell them you can wait.
They won’t rescind your offer. We interview for months to get the position filled. Considering the amount of time and effort whole hiring team will have to spend again if they rescind your offer, 20% is a deal for them.

Perfect but unfortunately I asked already for 20%
      Should I stock at them?

Unfortunately, that’s not how “negotiation” works :)
Unless you tell them that you’re firm on 20%, then will try to negotiate a lower number, probably 5-8%, with you. Don’t give a number then and say it is too less. Once he’s around 12-14%, say that you’ll think about it. Wait for 2-3 days and then try to negotiate again. Goodluck.

I would suggest it this is first job or if things are really bad at your current place. Go a little soft on negotiation so you dont end up without an offer

I'll go soft, I just asked them and waiting for the answer, If they refuse it, I will accept the old one normally.

But from the first negotiation, could I lose my offer?

No i dont think so you will. That hardly ever happens that someone would lose the offer on the first negotiation

Did u mean it's hard to lose the offer from the first negotiation? Or it's possible at Amazon?

just negotiate. They won’t rescind the offer based on the negotiation. at worst they’ll just reject your offer. After you’re hired, nobody is going to care that you asked for 20% or 40% except you.

That isn’t always true. While looking for 2 open roles I ended up with extra inclined loops. Since I liked the candidates equally, I went with the two that accepted first. The remaining candidates got recycled so I am sure they will land a gig but... ya never know.
