hi everyone! ive learned alot from this community! i now have my own question... 1. recruiter sent me a job offer from company x in $x amount 2. i verbally accepted, company x sent me congratulations 3. recruiter renegs on offer, says they made an error, now offer is lower from recruiter end 4. i offered middle ground as difference is alot 5. recruiter is not accepting to negotiate, what to do? should i contact company x? thanks!
Find another job
I need this job, but want to get the original offer I accepted. Recruiter apologized because I’m sure the lowered offer/difference is the recruiter % percentage/cut, which I’m sure she doesn’t want to give up. Anything else I can negotiate? Like benefits start first day?
Vacation time
Either be willing to walk and negotiate hard, or accept. What company?
What company?
Unless you're really in a dire situation, I'd run away from this.
Nothing you can do unless you're willing to walk away from the offer.
What's the difference in TC?
$6K but going from permanent to contract.
They're willing to let you walk over a $6,000 difference. Is this company almost bankrupt?
Company x doesn’t know recruiter messed up the offer. Should I contact company x? They already welcomed me via emails.
It’s maybe not seem like a lot to some, but it is to me, in the Bay Area.
