One week notice for a job worked just 2 months

Have to quit a job after 2 months because it is not a good fit. It's common practice to give 2 weeks notice. But since I just started, would it be enough to give just 1 week?

1 week or 1 day won't make any difference. You will probably be blacklisted from Intel anyway.

I left in good terms. I documented everything I know and passed down to co-workers. I had been overworking almost every day for several years. Brought up many projects. At the end, the efforts had amounted to almost nothing. My manager and co-workers understands why I left

What two weeks notice - I would walk you out if I were your boss.

Great. Then I can end the suffering and start the time off sooner. I am leaving because I have to.

That’s what I would do. I usually inform companies on Friday when in such a situation and never tell anyone where I am joining

Depends on what people want. BlackRock is easier than other places. Pays average, some bureaucracy, fires rarely. A lot of emphasis on culture and transparency, everyone knows everyone else. People have access to most databases.
Despite people speaking against BlackRock I did some analysis on their attrition year on year and its pretty low. On average 200 out of 15000 per year for the last several years. The problem is a lot of stupid people also stay around and never leave.
If you have access to your firms databases let me know what’s the turnover ratio.

If you want you can leave same day. I know a few people that went on vacation and sent an email saying ‘i resign. please send the documents’
Notice periods are courtesy and not legally enforceable. Also you haven’t completed 90 days or probation.

What’s bad at black rock? Keep hearing it’s not a good fit for people.
