Online Masters in Data science
Is online Data science masters worth it ? Some universities like Georgia tech, Berkeley affiliated universities started new programs recently. Or is it better to first with start selective courses from coursera from good universities? Would appreciate if you guys can give some insight.
Starting MCS-DS program by UIUC this Fall. Looks good to me.

If you go for masters program , you pretty much know that you will be done in 2 years or so. With coursera, you may lose steam . Or even worse, you may do many courses and still not feel confident on where you stand. Either from your own confidence or from employer's perspective. Find time and money and do the degree, I would think.
OP what did u decide to do at the end? Did it benefit you in anyway?
I heard about that the online CS master course quality of Georgia Tech is almost the same as on campus. coursera is much easier. Depends on your time and budget.
