Hello guys, I have an onsite interview for a software development manager at Amazon. Any pointers on how this goes? Will there be any coding interviews in that long day? Appreciate your help alot. Thanks!

Newish SDM. Not probable that there will be code but maybe. Expect technical system design round and lots of LP questions.

I actually love. So much freedom to do what you think is best. Overall I would highly recommend the role

Dude. Learn the leadership principles. Have examples. That will dominate your interview. Good luck, man. Let us know if you get it.

Guys I need your help, I did the interview last week. I sent to the recruiter to ask for a feedback and I got an email from the hiring manager for an interview follow-up call, what does it mean? Am I rejected or what?

Most likely you got it. I have a follow up scheduled as well. Recruiter did call me before the follow up call with the hiring manager to congratulate. So congratulations you got the offer. Enjoy!

The hiring manager is a good friend of a good friend of mine and he is the one referred me in the first place. Can this be out of decency or courtecy?!

I have an update, I sent asking him to tell me a brief about the call and what to expect. He replied that he connected with the recruiter and that he volunteered to reach out himself. Also, he told me that in this call he will share the interview feedback and to collect my feedback on the process so far. Should I still be optimistic?!!

Yes, be hopeful! A manager isn’t wasting their time to reject you. That’s what recruiters are for haha. Fingers crossed!
