Open US bank accoint from Canada
Starting a new job in bay area next month, and moving from Canada. Any recommendations for US banks that are easy to open an account with while still living in Canada?

Open it when you get here, with a real bank. Easy enough.

Use TD or RBC, they have US bank accounts that you can easily transfer money to Canada (in USD if you want)

Yeah, also make sure to get a credit card through rbc or td when you open an account with them. When coming to the US you'll have no/low credit for some time and it'll be a pain to get a cc for a while with a good limit.
Pretty sure that's impossible. you can open a USD bank account in Canada but not a US Bank account from Canada
Might be possible with TD bank, I'll go check.
