What is the comp range for IC4 / Principal Member of Technical Staff engineers at Oracle Cloud in Seattle? How is it broken down: salary, bonus, stock? Glassdoor says $180k. Lots of posts on blind say /twice/ that, $360k! I’m trying to understand where the discrepancy comes from and which is more accurate. There isn’t any great info I’ve seen about breakdown.
What is ur level and comp in Amazon?
Same as everyone else basically
360k... glassdoor in accurate, paysa inaccurate, because other principles in oracle only has 180k while OCI could have 360k
well i don’t know the exact figures in OCI but heard it’s way higher then other existing revenue groups such as database , EM and apps which is an irony
That’s a good number..380...is that correct...so never go to Glassdoor for comps...it’s BS there
I want to know this information too. Expecting an offer soon. Breakdown of the numbers will be helpful
They offered me 190k base + 190k/y RSU x 4y. Had competing offer. They don't seem to have bonuses and could not get a clear answer on expected RSU refreshers.
Congrats, a big offer. Can I ask what is your level in MS and how many years of experience do you have?
I was at L64 with 10+ years experience
Be aware that Oracle’s benefits is pretty below than average. It doesn’t have paternity leave (and 60% pay for maternity leave for 8-12 weeks), 4 year vesting of 401k matching, no perf bonuses, subsidized health insurance which will eat your paycheck. Only plus is the unlimited vacation days.
What do you mean by 4 year vesting of 401k? You have to stay there for 4 years to get their match? So that would mean your 5th year you would get your 1st match?
They match 50% up to 6% of your salary but it is not vested immediately. First 12.5% is vested in your first anniversary. And full 50% match is vested just after your fourth anniversary.
My benefits have compared to MS and I have had no issues at all. It was easy transition with no seen change for my family
I would say the other way around...don’t believe glass door. Most of the companies are paying through RSUs etc..which is not accurately reflected at Glassdoor
