Got offer from OCI, for rsu part, how much should be the Oracle stock price being used to calculate stock shares? Sounds like there won't be annual base salary increase, no annual bonus, only stock refresh for ppl above average.
What's the offer?
Yes, OCI in Seattle
Still negotiating. Just wondering about the Oracle stock price number to calculate stock shares. The average of past 6 or 3 months, or current price?
Oracle stock is predictably just under 50. Has been for some time. Fluctuates ...but only 10 percent ish. Seriously though? What’s the ^%*+~ing offer, man??? We are all here to learn this!😂
This is from the future.. Today it is above 80 and crossed 100 once 😬
OP, which position? What’s the offer ?
Principal level engineer, tc may be around 340k. But they use $50 as stock price when calculating stock shares. I really doubt it. Website even shows $45 today.
They used a $50 stock price when calculating mine as well. Seems grasping a little.
That really doesn't make sense to use $50. The total stock shares will be much fewer. The tc will be much lower than the expected. And the proposed annual stock shares number looks lower than the tc average. After 1 year, I have to get at least exceeded review result to meet the tc average based on refresh stock.
That sounds about right for TC but I agree that stock price sounds wrong. You can, of course, tell them you think so and that you think more stock is appropriate. Maybe they will say "eh, we can't do that, but tell you what, we'll increase the signing bonus".
