Numerous UX designers at Oracle were given $100k+ signing bonuses by the dynamic duo Kurian hired to run design. One, who lied on his resume and about his experience when asked, was given a $150,000 signing bonus. A high profile design SVP pressured HR to promote him to director recently. Thatās just in UX, which is mostly shit. Imagine that loose spending in the important orgs.
Just in UX? Bad UX is one of the reasons why Oracle is losing.
One thing i am sure of is that Oracle is sinking ship. It will take its own sweet time to submerge itself. By that time all the moron execs might have been retired rich by fucking Oracle brutally!
The oracle 401k does not require a balloon repayment of a loan at termination. If you think you are in the crosshairs, a loan out of your 401k may be a nice supplement to any severance payment. If you do not end up needing the money you can repay in bulk after the specter of layoffs has passed.
Same thing happened to me in 2017. I feel for anyone let go. There is life after Oracle!
