I haven’t done shit today!
Hi guys, I have a verbal offer for a Oracle oci ic2 role in Santa Clara. They want to know my expectations in terms of TC. What's the highest comp package i can push for that's not unreasonable? Yoe: ~3.5
Ic2 is around 250k TC
250 is too much for IC2
~180k
IC2 in Oracle is for new grads and the offer is indeed around 150k. If you have some competing offers you can get something like 190k but that's rare.
IC2 can go till almost ~0-3 years. And generally TC range can be almost 140-220k. There might be anomalies here and there which needs further approval. 140k base and 50-75k stock with around 20k sign on should be a good offer to get easily approved. You can push further based on your other offers.
True. The ic2 at oci is 2-3 years experience. I have seen a few 230k offers. 250k is also doable
What's the split of 230k offer ? Does it include sign on too ?
For 1 to 2 yoe, IC2 TC around 190k . For 2-4 yoe, IC2 TC around 220-240k. If you can push for ic3 you can make upto 300k. You need 4-8 yoe for that though.
Congrats! I have a friend who has 4 yoe and got $160K
Mind sharing insight as to your on site?
How much are they offering?
No numbers yet, they want to know what my target is and then they'll see if they can make that happen. She said typically it's around 150k TC for this role
Depends on your current salary also. How much is the current TC?
